CANO/ACIO is pleased to announce that it is currently accepting nominations for the 2018 Boehringer Ingelheim Oncology Nurse of the Year Award!
Do you know an outstanding nurse that deserves to be nationally recognized? Someone who:
- Has consistently demonstrated the highest level of nursing excellence and leadership in oncology nursing
- Has made a significant contribution to advancing oncology nursing practice and/or health system transformation

Why honour a colleague?
Honouring fellow oncology nurses is an important part of recognizing and celebrating the hard work of oncology nurses across Canada.
Award nominees will be assessed by a panel of Canadian oncology nursing professionals and the recipient will receive $5,000 towards their further education and professional development. The recipient will be announced at the CANO/ACIO annual conference being held in Charlottetown, PEI from October 26-29, 2018.
