Julian Appel

Julian Appel is a Technical Specialist at the de Souza Institute. He is part of the team that designs and supports the de Souza’s network and server infrastructure.

Julian is a electrical and computer engineer and holds a BScEE and an MBA. He has specialized in Programming as well as Computer System Design and Maintenance; he has worked in the manufacturing industry, banking and in the courts systems. In addition, he has extensive experience in IT Security and Privacy.

Julian is a member of the IEEE (International Electric and Electronic Engineers), a certified security consultant (ISC2-CISSP) and a certified privacy consultant (IAPP).
