Tracy Soong

BSc, Education Specialist

Tracy is an education specialist with extensive experience in research and project management. With a strong foundation in scientific and clinical domains, Tracy began her career with four years at Queen’s University in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, where she managed teaching laboratories and contributed to research on novel cardiovascular compounds. This was followed by a research role at the Toronto Western Research Institute, focusing on preclinical treatments for Parkinson’s disease.

Since joining de Souza Institute, Tracy has played a key role in program evaluation, analyzing learner feedback and providing important information for course revision and improvement. More recently, she added to her portfolio the coordination of education efforts with provincial partners, as well as specific projects to address education needs of health care professionals, leveraging her analytical skills.

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science with Distinction from Athabasca University and a Clinical Research Associate Graduate Certificate from The Michener Institute of Education at UHN.
